Fun at the park

Kayci, Andy, Abby, and Karlee getting dizzy on the twisty pole at the park.

Jake's not sure what to think of all the kids running around.

It didn't take long for him to feel comfortable, though, and he started to make friends and play.

Karlee playing on the twisty slide.

Kayci playing in the shade of the slide.

Abby hangin' out on the jungle gym.

Our first trip to the park this summer turned out to be a great day. It was hot enough to make you appreciate the shade and cold water, but not so hot that you couldn't actually be outside. We went with my sister Holly and her three kids to this awesome playground at Tautphus Park that is all handicap accessible. The ground is covered in rubber so it is especially easy for Jake to get around and nice because the kids aren't always getting rocks or sand in their shoes. The kids ate lunch and played while Holly and I fed the babies. It was nice to be in the sun for a change!
